CODE OF CONDUCT
Victory Bible Camp is committed to providing a wholesome and enjoyable environment for each and every camper. Safety is emphasized at all times. Each person’s readiness to follow the Code of Conduct will help us ensure the safety and well being of everyone. Please read the following information carefully.
* Show respect for those in authority.
* Harassment of any kind, whether verbal, physical, sexual, etc, is contrary to an atmosphere of equal respect of all persons and is prohibited by law.
* Visitors during youth camps must have prior permission from the Director. Vistitors are always welcome especially parents or guardians of children enrolled.
* The use, possession of, or dealing in drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, or other controlled substance is prohibited anywhere on the camp premises. This pertains to all staff, campers, and visitors.
SPECIAL ATTENTION! NO ALCOHOL OR DRUGS OR CIGARETTES. >>SPECIAL NOTE TO SMOKERS: We understand that there may be some who have a habit of smoking and although we do not condone the activity we very much want you to attend, As of May 2006 we are not allowed "by law" to have smoking on the camp premisis so we have a designated area for smoking which is off the campground in walking distance away from other campers. Our prayer is that you will become free of the addiction of cigarettes and what better place to see that happen than right here at VBC!
* Knives and guns are prohibited ... of course!
NO TOLERANCE! Knives including "Pocket-Knives will be taken and returned at camp closing.
* Use of foul or disrespectful language is not allowed.
* Appropriate social conduct is expected at all times. Guy/Girl relationships will be closely monitored.
* Do not bring: Comic books, radios, CD/Mp3/cassette players, Game Boys. Reason: We have a program of activities prepared for everyone to enjoy and we encourage full participation. You'll have lots of time for electronic media-entertainment at home. We're Camping!
* Clothing.......Modesty is encouraged at all times! Girls: For swimming, we ask that girls wear modest swimsuits. If you only have a two piece swimsuit, we ask that you wear a T-Shirt over it. No belly showing shirts, please.
NOTE: If the Directors feel that what you are wearing is inappropriate, wear prepared to provide you with suitable clothing. (something from the 60's. HA!) We ask that campers and workers not wear expensive and excessive jewelry during camp. We cannot be responsible for lost or stolen articles.
* Camp regulations and schedules will be posted and are to be followed.
